The Dominion Cinema is a stunning 1938 Art Deco building, situated in Morningside, Edinburgh. Celebrating over 85 years, the Dominion is Edinburgh's only independent cinema.

We have welcomed the likes of Sigourney Weaver, Dame Judi Dench, Julie Walters, Cary Grant, Steve Martin, Jude Law, John Hurt, Stephen Fry, Emma Watson, Billy Connolly, and Steve Coogan who have all walked up the Red Carpet and have been greeted by the Cameron Family.

Looking to entertain your clients or employee's? We can offer your guests exclusivity of any of our screens, with luxury sofa and armchair seating, side tables, and quality picture and sound.

Choose from a classic film favourite from our extensive collection, the latest blockbuster, or your own film choice.

We have hosted film premiere's, film festivals, charity nights, cast & crew screenings, special Q&A's, and many more. A few companies that we have worked with are Aston Martin, Standard Life, Scottish Widows, Apex Hotels, and Fox International.

First Class & Gold One Screen – capacity 201

Our First Class section can hold up to 131 guests and has a selection of reclining sofa and armchair seating, all with privacy screens and side tables. Our upper section of the venue can hold up to 70 guests on two seater sofas, with side tables.

We can create bespoke drink and snack packages and have these set up for your arrival. Prices start from £1200 plus VAT.
